The Underground City
In the heart of Scotlands capital, Edinburgh, you will find one of the country’s oldest preserved ‘closes’. Mary Kings Close is a historic site portraying the way of life in 17th century Edinburgh with original underground houses, passageways and ghost stories. The close is loaded with history as it was resided in for 3 centuries. Guided tours are available to book 7 days a week all year round. Although there is not boasting amounts of access for Campervans and motorhomes in the city centre, we recommend taking the tram from the park and ride station in Ingliston for a small price.
