For The Kids
The Fairy Trail in Balloch Park will fascinate you and your kids as you walk through the woodland. Local Tree Surgeon Mr Muir has created carvings in old tree stumps of magical houses for fairies and mystical dragons protecting the park. Some of the carvings are on the main path to the castle and can even be spotted from the castle grounds! a new carving can be found at any time, even on the rural footpaths of the paths. Balloch is in The Trossachs so you will never be short of places to stay – just check availability as it is a popular place to visit!
